James L. West Center for Dementia Care

James L. West Alzheimer’s Center engaged The Projects Group to provide Owner's Representation services to construct their four-story healthcare facility that serves the needs of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. The goal was to provide a more residential-style design that included quality medical care in the research-based living environment.
The project scope included MEP replacement, upgrades to all finishes, casework, food service equipment, and exterior building upgrades. The renovation included a full remodel of their 5 residential suites while maintaining safe, ongoing operations. The James L. West project was a highly detailed, phased project that was carefully managed over 15 months. The 56,000 SF renovation was performed in five phases.
